In addition to being a novelist and screenwriter, Nick is a self-described geriatric millennial and certified expert in making a mess of his desk. Originally from a small country town in Australia - small enough that if you sneezed, the whole town probably knew about it - he took his love of storytelling to New York City, where he studied screenwriting for both film and television. Now based in Los Angeles, with his senior rescue dog Millie and overly adventurous cat Indy, Nick spends his time writing stories inspired by his four young nieces and nephews; stories that spark laughter, wonder, and just the right amount of mischief. A member of SCBWI Los Angeles, he believes the best stories are the ones that feel like an adventure—whether on the page or in real life.
